Shipwreck
A collection of Poetry

written during my travels

Shipwreck is a poetry collection written during my travels across the country that spotlights the moments where growth was pain and is separated into three parts: The caterpillar, the chrysalis and the butterfly. Shipwreck spotlights body dysmorphia, toxic relationships, loss of identity, mental health, grief, resiliency, healing and finding yourself again to take your power back.

The Traveling Wildflowerr

Hey there!

I grew up in a small town in the Midwest with family all over the world. Early on, I was bitten by the travel bug after staying in the Philippines for a few months. I went to school to earn two Master's degrees as a teacher and social worker, but still could not deny my love of art, photography and traveling.
Currently, I work in a school but still practice the art of being alive through solo, family travel adventures and blogging my experiences.

"You must understand that love never keeps a man from pursuing his personal legend. If he abandons that pursuit, it's beacause it wasn't a true love. The love that speaks the language of the world".

Paulo Cohelo

"She is free in her wildness, she is a wanderess, a drop of free water. She belongs to no man and no city.
