Nature has always been my safe place and exploring has been my muse. I grew up in the countryside in Minnesota. I have always had a love for traveling and immersing myself in nature. My love for travel started when I was young. My mom was from the Philippines and we would travel to see the rest of our family, Our days filled with island hopping, beaches and fresh smoothies on the beach.
I graduated from Minnesota State University Mankato with a Master's in Sociology and a Master's in Social Work. I completed internships at Allina Hospital's Mental Health Unit as a medical social worker, Rachel's Light as a guest advocate and Steele County Attorney's Office as a Victim Services Coordinator. I have worked as a school social worker for six years now as well.
Currently, I continue to travel the Midwest & the country with my family, our two dogs and cat. We continue to enjoy National Park visits and connecting to nature to improve mental health.

Always Travel With People You Love

My travel experience is unique. I have not quit my job to live a nomadic lifestyle. I have traveled solo, with friends, family and my three lovely children. Part of why I share my joruney is because it has been difficult for me to relate with some travel artists and bloggers since my situation is different.
 I wanted to fill that niche and show people that you can still travel and live your best life while working a job you love and having a family. I am blessed to work in a setting that allows me flexibility to travel & family who enjoy it as much as I do. Traveling with children has its unique challenges- but also irreplacable sweet memories. My children have gained perspectives through travel that they would not be able to within classroom walls. 
It's truly all about balance! I love the variety of travel I am able to do- and I hope to support and inspire all  of you to see you can do anything  you set your mind to- don't let self-doubt limit you!
